# Complexity What is the connection between [[Agent-Based Modelling]], [[Cellular Automata]], [[Dynamical Systems]] and [[Differential Equations]]? Can we take the [[Lotka-Volterra]] equations for predator prey population dynamics and connect it to an agent based model (such as one created in [[NetLogo]] and infer how you go from one to another? Isn't this similar to the theory in [[War and Peace and War]], except the populations are rich and poor, old and young?
