# Price Cycle Model Both [[Parallax Financial]] and the german guy whos book I read ( #process/todo ) have employed similar cycle models to help time markets. The german guy wrote a book about this. Essentially he detrended prices and then did cycle decomposition. He ranked cycles by impulse (amplitute by unit of time) and used the most important ones to predict cycles going forward. I need to investigate this next.
