## Cognitive Crisis from questioning beliefs
Is it possible to get yourself into a self-imposed crisis by thinking too much about what the truth is?
In "Death of Zarathustra" Snooks describes how it drove Nietsche mad. But is that possible?
It probably comes from questioning what is knowable and what is really true. when I start to think that way, not knowing what truth & reality are anymore, it creates a distressing feeling.
You naturally begin to question your own knowledge and what is true in the quest to find the truth about how the world really works. Especially if something important you thought you knew turned out to be wrong. Then you begin wondering about all your other knowledge and assumptions.
You have to ground yourself by the things you do know for sure or with high confidence, and the models you have for making decisions.
